Well, who can really confine a dog for 2 weeks? Especially when the dog is healthy and has friends she always plays with, and when she sees them go out to play and have fun?
Can you say "No! Millaii! You are supposed to be resting. Stay here. Rest!" ??
I can't. I know I can't leave her and have fun with other dogs.
And I honestly think if I do, she will go crazy and do more harm to herself like jump up and down, kicking and screaming.
It's safer to bring her along with us, and enjoy the air outside.
Only...I never thought she would run that fast....
I got a little worried about her cut. Will she be OK?
I checked her belly later... no harm done. She seems perfectly fine.
It's really amazing how fast the animals can recover from those operations.
I think it's the will that they want to walk, it's the survival instinct if they fall behind, they'll die.
It's the sincere wish they want to have fun with everybody else.
We people probably think too much. If you think too much you get worried and become pessimistic.
It's the will we have to have. We'll have a will we'll find a way. Shouldn't think too much.

I'm learning these things that matter the most in our lives from a 2-year-old dog with a giant collar who still runs into everything in her way.
Thank you, Millaii.

=================================================
ANKO and MILLAII are up for adoption. They need new homes.
I am fostering them until they can find nice new owners.
They are current with their shots.
Millaii is spayed. Anko will be spayed on 11/15.
Please e-mail me if you are interested in either Millaii or Anko (or both), or if you have questions, or if you know of anybody who may be interested in them. We live in Cypress, California. 15 mins from Disneyland.
You can foster her for a few days to see if she is a good fit for your family. I will always take her back if you decided she is not the right pet for you.
